One of the hardest parts about fashion for me is transitioning from season to season. You’re so used to wearing a certain type of clothes for specific weather, and suddenly you have to change your fashion mindset. The key to making this work for me is finding pieces that will work for both seasons…especially basic pieces. (If you know me you know I’m all about the staples.) This year, I have found the perfect tunic to bring you into the coming fall weather from Illume Boutique. Outfit 1: End Of Summer
I love white jeans. Unfortunately, I will always inevitably spill something on my white jeans. Always. When I eat I have to place at least four napkins on my lap. Anyways…that’s beside the point. I love pairing this top with white jeans and some summery sandals. These particular sandals have a hint of blush, which is one of my favorite colors to pair with olive green. Top it off with a fedora, and you’ve got yourself an adorable outfit for on-the-go!

Outfit 2: Early Fall
Before you know it, it’s going to be bootie season. (Yayy!!!) One of everyone’s favorite times of the year! Pair the Up In Smoke Tunic with some distressed jeans and your favorite pair of booties (because olive green goes with virtually any neutral you can find on a pair of booties). I also love adding my favorite black wide-brimmed at with this look to give a little extra something to the outfit.

Outfit 3: Late Fall/Early winter
Eventually, a short sleeve just isn’t going to cut it. It’s okay, all you have to do is throw on an oversized cardigan over the tunic! This specific sweater is my absolute favorite. It’s SO cozy and is there for me when I’m cold…aka always. I love pairing this cardigan with some black jeans and black booties. Y’all know I love a black-on-black look. Throw in some of that olive green, and I’m sold!
