Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Raleigh, NC’s first Macy’s Backstage store. Macy’s Backstage is a new store-in-store concept that can be found inside some Macy’s stores for those who love bargain shopping and finding great deals on great products. It is Macy’s new one stop shop offering fashion-forward trends, gorgeous home decor finds, amazingly priced beauty products, and more!

Even though I unfortunately had to miss the fun grand opening events at the beginning of the day, I was able to stop by after the crowd died down a little bit so I had more room to look around and take some photos of the space.

One thing that I noticed was how clearly everything was labeled, so you don’t have to walk around searching for the section you need. With a large department store, you can walk around for 20-30 minutes before you realize that what you are looking for is upstairs. This making your bargain shopping experience that much easier!

I also loved the sections that were labeled with a price point. The photos above give you a good idea about the range of price you can find in Macy’s Backstage. I found most everything that I looked at in the clothing section was about $20 or less, unless there is a brand that is generally more expensive. However, you’ll still get an amazing deal no matter the original price. For example, this Macy’s Backstage has a limited selection of MCM hangbags. At normally about $1,000, you can snag these for around only $400 in the store! Let’s see some LV’s in here, who’s with me?

Macy’s Backstage uses a whole different buyer team from the main Macy’s store. This gives you a chance to find some truly unique items, especially since everything has a limited quantity. So, if you see an item in your size that you love, you better snag it ASAP!

I think my favorite section of the whole store was the home decor section. It was so hard to not grab everything and come home with it (mostly because I wouldn’t have a place for most of it and my husband would be pretty annoyed – ha!) Check out the beautiful featured sections:

They even have great selections in beauty, luggage, kids toys and clothes, shoes, and men’s clothes. It really is a one-stop-shop!

My Finds

The Waves Are Calling Romper // $38 // Illume Boutique

Even though I wanted to plunge deep into the home section, I wanted this trip to be about finding some great summer clothes – and I definitely found some for a great steal! I was able to snag almost 3 outfits for under $90! Keep scrolling to check out my finds and how much each piece cost, then find out how you can enter to win a $50 gift card to your local Macy’s store!

This strapless romper is one of my favorite finds. I am a sucker for navy blue and the tassels give it such a fun look! This will be perfect for my cruise in December and my Dominican trip next May. Also, these shoes are so perfect. I’ve come to really love Franco Sarto. All of their shoes are so comfortable!

Ocean Drive Romper // Original Price: $38 // Macy’s Backstage Price: $16.99
Franco Sarto Sandals // Original Price: $69 // Macy’s Backstage Price: $29.99

I love this lacy tank. It’s a great, lightweight summer top to dress up or down, layer or wear alone. It goes great with jeans and my new Franco Sarto sandals!

Chenault Lace tank // Original Price: $40 // Macy’s Backstage Price: $19.99

I’ve been in need of some new workout clothes, and was super excited to find these super cute workout crop pants right next to this extremely comfortable medium-support sports bra (Zumba requires as much support as possible! 😂)

Vogo workout crop pants // Original Price: $48 // Macy’s Backstage Price: $15.99
Reebok Sports bra // Original Price: $40 // Macy’s Backstage Price: $12.99

After this visit, I honestly can’t wait to go back and see what other great finds are hidden in the racks of Macy’s Backstage.

**Contest over – congrats to @oakandpineraleigh for winning!**
